1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Alert Map mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services.

2. Use of Service

Alert Map is a community-driven safety network. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the service.

Prohibited Behavior:

Submitting false or misleading danger zone reports.
Using the app for harassment, stalking, or any illegal activities.
Attempting to interfere with the security or integrity of our systems.

3. Community Reporting & Verification

Alert Map relies on user-generated content. While we provide a verification system (Real/Fake voting), we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of any report.

Users are responsible for the accuracy of the reports they submit.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our community guidelines.
Your trust score and report history are monitored to ensure community integrity.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

IMPORTANT: Alert Map is a tool for community awareness and is NOT a replacement for official emergency services. In case of immediate danger, always contact local authorities first.

We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from reliance on community-generated reports.
We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.
Users acknowledge that they enter any reported danger zone at their own risk.

5. Accounts & Security

When you create an account via Google Sign-In, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Alert Map at our sole discretion, without notice, for behavior that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the community.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of Alert Map after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
